NEWS: Singer-Songwriter Alex Di Leo Announces Release of Debut EP 'So We Go'

alex-di-leo-70s-car FORT LAUDERDALE, FL | SEPTEMBER 13, 2016: South Florida alternative indie singer/songwriter Alex Di Leo has just announced the official release of his debut solo EP So We Go, set for November 4, 2016. Treating fans to an early sneak-peek of the EP, Di Leo had released "Make It Easier," on his Soundcloud which can be heard here. So We Go was Produced by Josh Diaz (Further Seems Forever, KIDS) and Alex Di Leo, and mixed by James Joseph (Jacob Whitesides, Hoyle). This is what Alex Di Leo had to say about the release of his debut EP, So We Go: "Releasing my debut EP is definitely the highlight of the last 3 years. I'm beyond excited to share the positive vibes and stories that relate to a period in my life.I think because I've done 4 other recording productions to get to this sound I was looking for, I've truly come to appreciate the journey and outcome even more. I'm constantly thinking of how short our lives are and how important it is to experience new things, take risks, and to not be afraid of what could go wrong, but what could go right, and that's what helped evolve the concept of So We Go." - Alex Di Leo

 

Di Leo began his solo career after his reputable rock band Wyld Fly parted ways in 2014. Spending the next year writing and recording music, Di Leo gathered most of his inspiration from traveling, using his songs as an uplifting way to share new experiences and journeys. Di Leo explains, "I'm constantly thinking of how short our lives are and how important it is to experience new things, take risks, and to not be afraid of what could go wrong, but what could go right. Sometimes it's the journey that teaches you a lot about the destination"

 

In 2016, Alex and his new alternative sound, inspired by indie, pop, and folk, made its debut at the For The Love Music Festival, followed by an appearance at the Undertow Jam Music Festival, garnered attention from notable outlets such as BalconyTV. With influences ranging from Coldplay to Vance Joy, Arcade Fire and more, Alex Di Leo and his band bring their fans uplifting songs that get fans singing along to enchanting, hook-filled melodies.
